Wildlife at home…

My mom loves birds – mainly parrots. So when she remembers, she likes to buy some seeds and spread them around the garden or set up a dish for the local birds to stop by our house and eat.

A couple of weeks ago, I spotted this young kookaburra on our fence. It was the cutest thing ever, and I think it even smiled at me (if birds had lips). It was with another one, so the pair sat down and posed for me for a couple of minutes before heading off.
